North Battleford and the Battlefords, a northwest run.

North Battleford sits on the North Saskatchewan River, three hundred and eighty kilometres northwest of our yard, the larger of the two communities that make up the Battlefords. We mobilize for projects in the region regularly, commercial and residential paving across town plus municipal and farm work in the surrounding rural municipalities. Despite the distance from Moose Jaw, the Battlefords are a regular Covenant route, not an occasional one.

In North Battleford we work the downtown corridor along Railway Avenue and 100th Street, the commercial strip along Highway 16, plus residential neighbourhoods including Riverdale, Centennial Park, Killarney Court, Westview, and the newer subdivisions on the north and east edges of town. Industrial paving at the Cargill plant area and the rail yard, plus seasonal patching and overlay work for the City of North Battleford, fills out the regular project schedule.

The Battlefords region supports a steady stream of paving demand on both sides of the North Saskatchewan River, and we cover it as a single project zone, heritage neighbourhoods, commercial strips along the main routes, and residential drives across town. Working the whole area together keeps mobilization cost reasonable for North Battleford customers and lets us schedule efficiently through the region.

Surrounding the Battlefords we also service the farms, acreages, and rural municipalities across northwest Saskatchewan. Many of our trips in this region are farm yards, grain bin foundations, country driveway chip seal work, and the kind of agricultural-adjacent paving that defines this part of the province. The Battlefords sit in a part of Saskatchewan with mixed soil conditions, river-valley clay along the North Saskatchewan and prairie loam further out from town. We walk every site before quoting because two driveways two kilometres apart can need very different base preparation.
