10 / 10 · Hot-mix patches that bond
Pothole Repair.
A pothole is what happens when a small crack got ignored and one Saskatchewan winter turned it into a structural failure. We repair potholes the right way. Saw-cut a clean square around the hole, remove what's failed, prepare the edges, drop in hot asphalt, compact it tight. The patch bonds to the surrounding pavement and stays put.
Why cold patch doesn't hold
A lot of cheap pothole work is just cold asphalt shovelled into the hole and stomped down. It looks fixed for about three months. Then the first hard freeze lifts the patch right out and you're back where you started. We use hot-mix patching with proper edge prep. The repair bonds permanently and ties to the surrounding pavement.
What it costs
Per patch and per square foot. A big lot needing twenty or more patches in one visit runs much cheaper per patch than a single one-off call. If you can save up your repairs and batch them, do it. Otherwise we'll come out for just one if that's what you need.
Ready to drive on right away
Hot-mix patches are usable basically the moment we leave. The small surface area of a patch cools fast, so you can drive over it within an hour or two without damaging the repair. No need to close off the area for days.
